Guitar Tuner One Step Down (d, A, F, C, G, D)
Guitar Tuner One Step Down
Here is the online guitar tuner one step down. This is another interesting guitar tuning, similar as Half Step Down Tuning; but more radical. Guitar tuner one step down would be recommended for using with high-caliber strings (starting at 0.11 or higher). The strings are tuned up in d, A, F, C, G, D from the first string (the thinnest one) to the sixth one (the thickest).
Many Metal and New Metal groups are using the one step down guitar tuning, among the most popular guitarists as Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield of Metallica, that play with it in some of their songs.
Guitar tuner one step down is one of my favorites because this guitar tuning really changes the guitar sound, becoming lower and tending to cover a greater part of the sonic spectrum. You're only "loosing" the 2 highest notes of the 1st string, mostly used in little parts.
If the string tension is lowered with the guitar tuner one step down, it supposes to be easier to execute bendings. But, at the same time, if you lower the tuning is also recommended to use thicker strings. This compensates the smaller tension with harder strings and the final effect could be minimized. It depends on your preferences.
Use the guitar tuner one step down online if you want to achieve spectacular and extra large bendings. Turn down one or more semitones the standard guitar tuning and try first with the string tension you are already utilizing (ideal with light gauges starting at .08 or .09 inches)
